Some weddings are pure magic, set against a backdrop so beautiful it could be straight from a film set. For Abi and Alex, that dream became a reality on the Greek island of Skiathos, the sun-drenched paradise made famous by the film "Mamma Mia" (one of my favourites!). In September, together with their closest loved ones they celebrated on the sun drenched shores.

Abi reached out to me requesting a delicate headpiece/hair vine initially but together after chatting over her vision, we designed a custom set of preserved white rose hair pins, each delicately framed by preserved eucalyptus. Choosing hair pins over a traditional headpiece gave Abi the freedom to create her own look, building the arrangement around her low boho bun for that effortless, organic finish.
Personal Touches for Loved Ones
The personal details didn’t stop there. Abi also commissioned a matching custom buttonhole for Alex, as well as coordinating pieces for close family members who travelled to celebrate with them on the island. It was a beautiful way to connect the wedding party.

Inspiration for Your Own Destination Wedding
Abi and Alex’s celebration is proof that you can have both flexibility and artistry in your wedding florals, especially for a destination wedding. Preserved flower designs travel beautifully, last as keepsakes, and allow you to create a look that’s uniquely yours, wherever your love story takes place.
